Clinical Positioning

Clinical trials generate clinical samples.

Blood is by far the most common, and central labs do this well.

With increasing emphasis on tissue biomarkers (proteins and RNA), frozen clinical tissue samples can become a component of a clinical trial protocol.

Frozen samples are a different animal, with required additional training of clinical trial personnel, oversight of frozen tissue processing at sites, and close management of shipping of frozen samples. This is what AGADA does.

Once the frozen sample is safely in house at AGADA, we have extensive SOPs for generating molecular and histological endpoints for clients, and aliquoting and shipping to other molecular assay vendors (Sponsor lab and others). This is what AGADA does.

Our experience provides assurance of critical data from your frozen samples, should it be a primary surrogate outcome for accelerated approval, pharmacodynamic biomarker, or exploratory outcome.
