Exhaustion Assay

In the exhaustion assay, mice are subjected to a forced running paradigm that measures their time to fatigue. Treadmill speed is increased incrementally until the point when a mouse reaches exhaustion. The total distance ran during the exhaustion period is measured, as well as the distance run normalized to the animal’s body weight.
