Lucia Caceres

Senior Research Associate

Dr. Lucia Caceres received her Ph.D. in Biology with a specialization in developmental genetics from McGill University. Prior to joining AGADA, Lucia worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Toronto studying the regulation of nuclear receptors in development. After relocating to Halifax, she continued her fellowship studies on the mechanism of cell communication in neuronal cells and as a research associate on translational research and drug discovery in zebrafish at Dalhousie University. Dr. Caceres works to conduct preclinical and clinical studies with the AGADA research team.
